On Discord tatting channel we were talking about having different challenges for other arts – for example: InkTober. There was some interest for a Snowflake Design-Along – so I spent couple of days and “came up” with the most basic snowflake base for a design along tatting challenge. Probably it is in every tatting book on the planet.

The legal mambo-jumbo:
Pattern sharing and publication terms
By submitting a pattern to the organizer, you grant the organizer a non-exclusive, worldwide, perpetual, royalty-free license to publish, reproduce, and freely distribute your pattern, with credit to you.
The organizer may share the pattern through websites, blogs, social media, online communities, ebooks, digital publications, public archives, file-sharing services, and other existing or future platforms. The organizer may also allow others to redistribute the pattern freely. Reasonable formatting and presentation changes may be made for publication, provided they do not misrepresent your work.
You retain full copyright ownership and remain free to publish, sell, modify, license, and distribute your own pattern independently. The organizer will distribute patterns free of charge, and you will receive no payment or royalties.
Participation without pattern sharing: Submitting a written pattern is optional. You can participate by sharing photographs of your finished work alone, but your work will not be included in a collection of written patterns unless you subsequently provide the pattern under these terms.
Permission to share: Only patterns submitted by their copyright owner or someone authorized to grant this license are eligible for publication.
